WETHERBY FLOWER CLUB was formed in 1968 and meets on the first Thursday of the month in The Methodist Church Hall, Bank Street, Wetherby.
We have a good mix of demonstrations, practice nights and workshops are arranged and we have occasional outings, usually to gardens. We also have an annual lunch in January. We have a Sales Table at each of our meetings where we sell the basic requirements for flower arranging at reasonable cost. For our Demonstrations we enjoy flowers being arranged at their best by demonstrators known locally and nationally, with a raffle for the arrangements at the end of the evening. Our aim is to promote the art of flower arranging as a hobby which will give a great deal of enjoyment and promote friendship through flowers.
Platinum Jubilee
On Friday 3 June as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations the Club will be holding a coffee morning and an afternoon tea in Wetherby Town Hall. |
