The North East Area Past Chairman’s club is open to everyone who has been Chairman of a Flower club in the North East Area at some point, no matter how long ago. The PC Club meets six times a year for a relaxing lunch at different venues throughout the North East Area in February, April (AGM), June, August, October and a Christmas fun meeting in December. We try to keep the meetings fairly central so that no-one, in a large area like this, has to travel too far. After lunch we sometimes have a speaker, visit local gardens or places of interest, indulge in a little retail therapy or just simply chat with the friends we have made over the years when attending the Area Council meetings, area events etc or new friendships made whilst coming to the lunches. There is an annual membership fee of £15 per year with the cost of the lunch being extra. Our programme for 2024/25 starts with a lunch on 13 June at The Staveley Arms, North Stainley, Ripon followed by a return to Fulford Golf Club on 8 August. If you would like to join the group please get in touch with the chairman Pat Martin - email [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you..
PC Club Sapphire Anniversary
Here are Pat Martin and Pat Daley cutting the celebratory cake at the Parsonage Hotel and Restaurant on the occasion of the Club's 45th anniversary. It's noted that they found a blue wall to be photographed in front of - or was it painted specially?
Above are a couple of images from the PC Club meeting in October 2021 at York Golf Club.
