Embsay with Eastby Flower Club celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2024. We are one of over 60 clubs in the North East Area of NAFAS. Embsay is a small village near the market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire.
New members and guests are always most welcome to our meetings which include demonstrations, workshops and the occasional garden visit. No flower arranging experience necessary, but if you enjoy flowers and would like to learn more about floral design please come along and join us. Annual subscriptions are available, or guests are asked to pay a small fee on the evening they attend. Refreshments are available at the end of each meeting. Please contact our Secretary, Ann Rawson, on 07583 606850 for more information.

Club Programme 2024/2025
On October 1st 2024, Embsay with Eastby flower club celebrated their Ruby anniversary with a fabulous demonstration “Autumn Splendours with a Ruby Twist” given by national demonstrator Vanessa Wellock.
Also our North East area Chairman Sheila Drybrough joined us for the celebration, where 70 members and guests were treated to supper and Prosecco in a café setting. The club has 2 of the founder members still attending meetings and many of the members who have also served on the committee and supported the club for forty years. The photograph (below) shows Sheila Drybrough, Vanessa Wellock and the committee including one founder member. |
