Beverley Flower Club has found a temporary venue for the rest of 2021 at Beverley Cricket Club, Norwood, Beverley (map opposite) and will be there for the October, November and December meetings 2021.
2020 was Beverley Flower Club’s 35th (Coral) anniversary.
We are a small friendly club and are always pleased to welcome new members. Our current membership is 48.
We meet on the first Monday of each month (but not in January or August) at 7.30 pm
We offer demonstrations from visiting professional flower arrangers from the North East Area and nationally, hands-on workshops, talks and days out. Each floral demonstration includes a raffle where there is opportunity to win one of the beautiful arrangements.
The club has taken part in various flower festivals through the years, the most recent being at St Marys Church, Beverley, in 2018.
We also visited the first flower show to be held at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.
Looking to the future, Beverley Flower club committee is working towards the reopening of the Club in October - see above for the latest news regarding our temporary venue. We are arranging a full programme of demonstrations and workshops, and an Open meeting on 4th April 2022 when the demonstrator will be Jonathan Moseley.
The club’s members include some very experienced flower arrangers with a fund of knowledge, help and advice to give to others.
