Northallerton and District Flower Club is a flourishing organisation in the county town of North Yorkshire. Now in its 60th year, it is the place to be for anyone who loves flowers, friendship and fun! We meet each first Friday of the month at 1:30pm, usually in the Sacred Heart Church Hall, Thirsk Road, Northallerton (see opposite for map). Members enjoy presentations by highly experienced demonstrators who use fabulous flowers and foliage to create marvellous arrangements, some of which can easily be copied at home while others can just be wondered at! The club’s committee arranges workshops, outings to gardens and flower festivals. There is also a very popular annual November open evening at The Forum with a nationally renowned demonstrator. Our members, who represent all ages and backgrounds, are drawn from Northallerton and surrounding villages. Their flower arranging skills are diverse too: some are very highly skilled with success in national competition, some are keen to learn new skills and others are just happy to watch and appreciate! There’s something for everyone and all are welcome to come along to our friendly and lively club.
