Acomb Flower Guild is a vibrant flower club. It was founded in 1968, we currently have 68 members. We meet at Acomb Parish Church Hall in the centre of Acomb. Ample parking is available behind Morrison’s supermarket. Limited disabled parking is available on site and the church hall has wheel chair access. A hearing loop system is also available in the hall.
Our meetings are a great way of socialising as well as learning new skills in floral art through our programme which consists of practice nights, demonstrations and workshops. Refreshments are served and we have a shop for flower arranging materials / accessories. Our members support various flower festivals, RHS Harrogate Show, flower arranging in York Minster and other flower arranging activities as and when. We organise various excursions during the year and have a members’ annual dinner. All members receive a newsletter monthly.
