NAFAS FLOWER ARRANGING IN WESTMINSTER ABBEY
Hopefully you may have seen the new Channel 5 show that is on Thursday evenings. Episode 1 (screened 22 September) showed a short scene towards the end of the programme on the flower arranging that was done for the Memorial Service for Prince Philip that took place this Spring. If you missed it, it's available on catchup ("My5"). Apparently there will be more shots of the arrangers in next week's programme to be aired 29 September.
ASSOCIATION OF IRISH FLORAL ARTISTS (AOIFA) VIRTUAL SHOW 2022
"AOIFA" (the Association of Irish Floral Artists) is a sister organisation of NAFAS based in the Irish Republic. It is holding a Virtual Show in November 2022 and the classes (five in number, each with a very simple one-word title) are open to any paid-up member of a flower club in the United Kingdom as well as other countries in the world who are WAFA members.
It is held in the usual "virtual show" way with competitors who have had their entry accepted submitting a picture of their individual design. You don't need to travel to Ireland to compete!
